Bio:
Hana Strejčková is a director, dramaturge, puppeteer, teacher of the Jacques Lecoq Method, drama and physical theatre instructor both in the Czech Republic and abroad. She studied dramaturgy and theatre directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and the International Theatre School Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Her productions are primarily devoted to research of the interaction and clarity of dance and physical theatre for children and youth (e.g. currently Among Us /author and director; Animal Carnival / dramaturgy), the relationship of dance and literature (e.g. Amortale / author and director) and specific aspects of the combination and transcendence of genre. She has also long focused on the creation of theatre of items (e.g. Twice Out /author and director),puppetry (e.g. The Tale of an Old Pirate / author and performer), happenings (e.g. Tsunami, Evacuation, Waste, etc.), performances (e.g. Breath / author and performer) and site-specific theatre (e.g. 5x5 periferie mě/sta).
